• Notes

  Son of Josiah Parrott & Frances Roberts. He married Elizebeth Leonard on 29 December 1853 in Murray Co., GA and they had four children. Orange was one of the pastors at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church located north of Ramhurst, Georgia. He served in Volunteer Company "D" of the 22nd Regiment of Georgia, Wright Brigade of the Northern Virginia Army. He enlisted on August 3, 1861 as a private. He was captured at Jericho Ford, Virginia on 26 May 1864 and released at Elmira, New York on 14 June 1865.
