ROCK HILL -- Clyde Hill Jr.
Mr. Clyde Wilkes Hill Jr., 79, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Barry Yates officiating.
Clyde Hill
Born in Rock Hill, S.C., Mr. Hill was a son of the late Clyde Wilkes Hill Sr. and the late Rosa Mae Bradford Hill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Holland Hill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Hobart Corporation in Charlotte, N.C. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his son, Clifton B. Hill of Rock Hill; two daughters, Rosa Marie Hill and Wanda Faye Hill, both of Rock Hill; two brothers, Dan C. Hill and Robert H. Hill, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel is assisting the Hill family.
