Death	John Henry Lewis: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice State, The (Columbia, SC) - July 7, 2008 Deceased Name: John Henry Lewis WINNSBORO -- The family of John Henry Lewis, age 65, will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at 120 Adger Road, Winnsboro. Memorial service plans will be announced. Mr. Lewis died in Fairfield Memorial Hospital after a long illness July 3, 2008. Born in Winnsboro, SC, January 9, 1943, he was the husband of Brenda Ann Lewis and the son of the late Paul Lewis and Louise Wilkes Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army, and later was self-employed as a general contractor. He was a member of the White Oak ARP Church. Mr. Lewis loved the outdoors, especially gardening and caring for his many horses. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Lewis is survived by two sons, Henry Lewis of Winnsboro and John Randall Lewis of Ocala, FL; one daughter, Janet Elizabeth Lewis of Winnsboro; and three brothers, Allan Lewis of Winnsboro, William Lewis of Blackstock, and Tony Lewis of Irvine, KY.
