- Bulloch County- Mr. Ralph “Buddy” Wilkes, age 66 died Saturday May 1, 2010 at his home while under the care of his family and Island Hospice. Mr. Wilkes was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired after 25 years of service from civil service where he was a welder by trade. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was predeceased by his parents Delbert and Wilma Barnard Wilkes.
Survivors include his wife of over 42 years Linda Wilkes of Bulloch County, Daughter and son-in-law Darlene Wilkes and Aaron Barnard of Bulloch County, son Robert Allen Wilkes of Bulloch County, 5 grandchildren Candy Carroll, Christy Carroll, Brandon Conder, Dakota Wilkes, and Michelle Wilkes, and 2 great grandchildren Matthew Fordham, and MacKenzy Fail.
Visitation will be 6-9 P.M. Monday Evening May 3, 2010 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Bryant officiating. www.flandersmorrisonfuneralhome.com
