- Mabel Wilkes Richards, age 89, of Riverdale, GA died Tuesday, September 22, 2009. She was born in McRae, GA to the late Elisha and Lavanna Estelle Beaddy Wilkes. Mrs. Richards was a member of Jodeco Baptist Church.
Mrs. Richards is survived by her husband, John Harmon Richards; daughter, Valerie Richards; sisters, Bernice Baker and Jewel Nelson; brother, Tom Wilkes; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at The Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Keith Flemming officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
