- Hank Luther Milton 66, of Lake City, died suddenly on November 26, 2022.
He was the son of Alton Carl Milton and Julia Kelly Milton. Hank grew up in the Deep Creek community of Columbia County and attended Columbia County Schools. He worked with his dad in the Plumbing, electrical, and hardware business. He was a devoted Florida Gator fan along with Nascar and loved to spend his weekends watching both.
Hank is preceded in death by both his parents, brother Jeffery Yeager, stepson Matthew Milton and brother-in-law Tommy Hosford.
He is survived by his sons, Landon Milton, Mount Vernon, Illinois, and T.J. Williamson, Lake City, stepchildren, Amanda (Michael) Bradford, Mount Vernon, Illinois, Daniel (Cassie) Hammond, and Lindsay Hammond, both of Lake City, a brother, Al (Laura) Milton, sisters Carolyn Hosford, Carla (David) Cowen, and Cheryle (Jimmy) Nettles, along with step-mother Mearl Milton all of Lake City; grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a lot of lifelong friends also survive.
A memorial service for Hank will be conducted on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Howard Thomas officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service. Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements 3596 South US HWY 441 Lake City, FL 32056.
