- Mt. Vernon, GA -- Mrs. Jacqulynn "Jackie" Seabolt Hartley, age 80 of Mt. Vernon, died Monday, October 3, 2011 at her home after a sudden illness. She was a native of Alamo, living several years in Florida, but most of her life in the Montgomery County area. She was a seamstress, a former member of the First Baptist Church of Alamo, and was a member of Calvary's Grace Baptist Church in Ailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Donald Hartley; a son, Scott Hartley; her parents, Ed and Claudia Artimus Rogers Seabolt, and a granddaughter, Josie Hartley.
Mrs. Hartley is survived by one daughter, Wanda Hartley of Vidalia; two sons, Glen Hartley of Vidalia, and Fred Bruce Hartley and wife Brenda of Fernandina Beach, Florida; two sisters, Avonell Jump and Georgia Alice White and husband Cleveland all of Douglas; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 6th at 11:00 am in Calvary's Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Patrick officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
