  Johnnye Wilkes WILKES, Johnnye Johnnye Louise Lilly Wilkes, 66, wife of Marshall J. Wilkes, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2008. The relatives and friends of Johnnye Wilkes are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, June 28, 2008 in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 27, 2008 at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Wilkes was born June 13, 1942 in Lilly, Georgia, daughter of the late John Louie Lilly and Nellye Hobbs Lilly. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Georgia; a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and was very active in the Mount Pleasant Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, Marshall J. Wilkes of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a sister, Kaye Lilly Clark of Ringgold, GA; two nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Marshall E. Wilkes.
