  	James Battle Blinson, 81, died April 4, 2002. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jay Weaver will be officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mable D. Blinson; sons, James E. Blinson of Clayton, Tommy L. Blinson of Holly Ridge, Larry Y. Blinson and Bobby Blinson both of Clayton; daughter, Becky Cobb of Clayton; fourteen grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mable Moore of Charlotte, Vangeline Hocutt of Four Oaks, Iva Williams of Clayton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Ada Blinson; brothers, Earl Blinson, Danny Blinson, Angele Blinson and Joseph Blinson. The family will receive friends on Saturday night from 7-9 p.m. at McLaurin at Pinecrest, Funerals & Cremations, Clayton 919-553-7143.
