James B. Nettles, 82, Supervisor with Lockheed Missle & Space Corporation, passed away peacefully at his home in Tallavana on Monday evening, December 1, 2008.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December, 4, 2008 at Abbey-Riposta Funeral Home Chapel (850-562-1518).
Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Nettles; son, Darrell (Monica) Nettles, NY, NY; daughter, Gayle Norris, Havana, Fla.; brothers, Rodney (Mary Ann) Nettles, Branford, Fla., and John J. (Debbie) Nettles, Lake City, Fla.; Sisters, Katie Biggs, Williamsburg, Va., Ethel Boyette, Henrietta (Joe) Kirkland, Elizabeth (Bob) Green, Lake City, Fla., and May (Jim) Edwards, Fernandina Beach; one granddaughter; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of caring and thoughtful friends.
The family wishes to express their thanks to Big Bend Hospice for the care and kindness they received during this difficult time.
