Savannah - Mr. Willie L. Blalock, Sr., 80, died on Monday, December 5, 2005 at Candler Hospital.
The Florida native was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Annette Lamb Blalock and served his country in the U.S. Army.
He retired from Peeples Industries and he enjoyed fishing and listening to music.
Survivors include his son, Willie L. Blalock, Jr., of Savannah; sister, Jacquelyn Shearouse of Rincon; sisters-in-law, Ethel L. McCorkel of Macclenny, FL and Mary Josephine Blalock of Savannah; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Thomas B. Lamb of Taylor County, GA and Phillip R. and Pauline Armitage of Springfield and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside Funeral: 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
