Collins - Mrs. Wanda Sue Lynn Sanders, 56, died Tuesday at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas GA.
The Tattnall county native had lived in Douglas since 1999.
She was a member of the Cobbtown Baptist Church and was a wonderful mother and grandmother as well as a good cook and seamstress.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and David Johnson of Collins GA; four brothers, Clyde Lynn, Stevie Lynn and Billy Lynn all of Collins GA; and Charles Lynn of Metter, GA; two sisters, Diane Collins and Lisa Smith both of Collins GA; and two grandsons, Christopher and Caleb Guthrie. She is also survived by her special friend, Durward Roberts, of Douglas: and his children, Rusty (Dawn), Randy and Michelle Roberts of Douglas and grandchildren, Blake, Rebecca and Rachel.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Collins First Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
