Mrs. Virginia Waldron Williams, 83, a lifelong resident of this area died at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL; on Saturday September 24, 2016. She was the daughter of the late A.P. and Annie Belle Walker Waldron.
She worked at Stephen Foster and also drove a school bus to transport children to and from school in White Springs. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of White Springs. She was the valedictorian of her graduating class in White Springs; she was also awarded the First Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair at Stephen Foster and also the White Springs Tobacco Queen.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years Gordon Williams, Jr. in 1997 and also her grandson Steven Jeffers in, 2013.Two brothers Franklin Hale Waldron and Mallory Waldron and one sister Barbara Beauchamp.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter Donna Jeffers (Steve) Lake City, FL; one son Allen Williams (Patti) Lake City, FL and four grandchildren Ceciley (Perry Howard), Craig Williams, Amber Williams, and Josh Jones (Shelby), three great grandchildren Andrew, and William Howard and Charli Jones also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at First Baptist Church of White Springs on Tuesday September 27, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. with Reverend Brandon Witt officiating.
Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in White Springs following service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the First Baptist Church of White Springs, P.O. Box 181, White Springs, FL 32096.
