McKAY Mrs. Reta M. McKay passed away June 28, 2010.
She was born January 26, 1913 in Vidalia, Georgia and moved to Jacksonville as a young lady. Mrs. McKay was a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church and was a very gifted pianist.
Mrs. McKay is survived by: son James R. McKay (Marie); daughter JoAnn Thomas (John); grandchildren Jennifer, Jason (Melissa), Jill (Brian), Michelle, and Cindy; and great-grandchildren Jenna, Tyler, Jace, and Jacob.
Mrs. McKay was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, James P. McKay.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 2, 2010 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice or All Saints Catholic Nursing Home.
