MIDVILLE, Ga.- Mrs. Nellie Wilkes Faircloth Blalock, age 83, of Midville, GA died November 10, 2011 at her residence after an extended illness.
Mrs. Blalock was a native of Swainsboro, GA, was a nurse's assistant at the State Regional Hospital and a member of the Augusta Hillcrest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William McKinley Wilkes 'Doober' and Laura Strange Wilkes and brothers; Larry Wilkes and Charles Wilkes.
Survivors include her Husband, Charles Blalock of Midville, GA, daughter, Sandra Faircloth McDaniel of Midville, GA, sons, Herman Lamar Faircloth (Sandra) of Midville, GA and James H. Jimmy Faircloth (Jean) of Williston, SC, sisters, Hazel McNutt (David) of Harlem, GA; and Nyla Fennell of Dublin, GA, brothers, Eugene Wilkes (Shelba) of Swainsboro, GA, Grady Wilkes (Patricia) of East Dublin, GA and Werel Wilkes of Dublin, GA; five grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Northview Cemetery in Dublin, GA.
