Marcus Wildes 1945 - 2008 -EASTMAN - EDWARD MARCUS WILDES, age 63 of Eastman died Sunday, November 9, 2008 in Houston County, as the result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 A.M., Wednesday, November 12, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Wildes was born in Wayne County, was a retired Civil Service Employee of Warner Robins AFB, a VietNam Veteran of the U.S. Army & the U. S. Air Force Reserves, member of Empire Baptist Church and was son of the late Lacy M. Wildes.
Survivors: wife, Elizabeth Askew Wildes; his mother, Martha Rose Wildes; two daughters, Tasha W. Shepard (Paul) and Darla Elrod; one son, Larry D. Elrod (Angela); grandson, Daniel Shepard; four sisters, Carolyn Stewart, Marlene Hill, Lacine Williams and Marilyn Roberson; two brothers, McKinnon Wildes and Wayne Wildes; two step-grandchildren, Shannon Morrison and Justin Wright.
The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 11, 2008.
