Vivian Robinson Beard April 14, 1918 - March 12, 2014 Clayton
Vivian Robinson Beard, 95, passed away Wednesday. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 Saturday at First Baptist Church, Clayton with Dr. Mark White officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Harris and her husband, Lowell of Clayton; brothers, Robert Beard and his wife, Jimmi of Copper Hill, VA and Ben Beard and his wife, Dorothy of Charlotte. Grandchildren: Robert Beard, Michael Beard, Clay Beard, Mark Harris, Amy Lemaire, Daniel Ray, Dee Anna Ray and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence B. Beard, grandson, Wayne Beard and six brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at the church.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 18th at 11:00 am at Broxton Cemetery, Broxton, GA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 35, Clayton, NC 27520.

Joanna W. Cassady, of Boynton Beach, FL. went to heaven on May 9, 2011 after a long illness. She was born on August 8, 1934 in Denton, Georgia to the late John R. and Inez Williams. Joanna attended and graduated from Florida School for the Deaf in 1952 and then married Clyde H. Cassady. They had three children, Clyde (Nikki), Carol Mckeever (Tom) and David. Her husband preceded her in death. Both were very active in the deaf community. Joanna was a Christian and attended Barwick Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her three children, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at Hebron Cemetery in Jasper, FL. on Monday, May 30, 2011.
