Raymond Morris Wheeler, 61, passed away Monday, August 23, 2004 in Jacksonville, FL, with his family by his side.
He was a loving husband and father. He served in the U.S. Army and worked 27 years for Coca-Cola. He was a member of Thomas Creek Baptist Church in Callahan, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Elizabeth Wheeler; brother, Junior Wheeler.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marilyn Wheeler; six children, Jeff Willard, Kim Willis, Jimmy Willard, Angie Barksdale, Paula Wagner, and Rusty Willard; two brothers, John and Russell; six, sisters, Mildred, Edith, Mary Jo, Marianne, Sandy, and Tonya and eighteen grandchildren.
Funeral services in celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2004 at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL, with Rev. Sonny Mills and Rev. Jimmy Durhan, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Garden of Everlasting Life at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
Family and friends will gather from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at the address above.
