She retired from St. Josephs Hospital where she was employed as a nurses assistant. She celebrated 64 years of marriage with the late Ralph A. Mitchell.
Survivors: four sons and daughters-in-law, Billy A. and Sue Mitchell of Savannah, Freddie L. and Annette Mitchell of Richmond Hill, Leon and Faye Mitchell and Cleon Mitchell of Swainsboro; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
