    Rozzle E. Lund, Jr
    (August 26, 1939 - March 10, 2009)

    Mr. Rozzle E. Lund, Jr., 69, of Lake City, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in the Shands at Live Oak Emergency Room following a sudden illness. A lifelong resident of Lake City, Mr. Lund was the son of the late Rozzle E. Lund, Sr. and Tom & Ruth Milton Parrish. Mr. Lund worked with the Florida Department of Transportation in the Maintenance Division for twenty-six years prior to retiring in 1990. Mr. Lund enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, "tinkering" with his CB radios and doing lawn maintenance in his spare time.

    Mr. Lund is survived by his brothers, Milton Parrish and Dale Parrish (Shonia) both of Lake City; a son, Lonnie Lund of Old Town, Florida; two aunts, Marie Wheeler of Lake City and Jackie Criswell (Winton "Wink") of Orange Park, Florida; his five nieces and four nephews, and numerous other family members and friends also survive.

    Graveside funeral services for Mr. Lund will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday (Today) March 12, 2009 in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Union County, with Bishop Mark Duren officiating. Interment will follow. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the CARC-Advocates for Citizens with Disabilities, 512 S.W. Sisters Welcome Road, Lake City, FL 32025. Arrangements are under the direction of the DEES-PARRISH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 458 S. Marion Ave., Lake City, FL 32025.
