Linda Gail Milton Williams, 77 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. She was born the 5th of 6 children to the late Wilmer Quincy Milton, Sr. and Retha Mary Bullard Milton. Mrs. Williams was a lifelong resident of Lake City and a member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church. She took pride in all she did including keeping her home as a homemaker for her family and always loved the Blue Crabs and Shrimp that her husband prepared for her. She was one of the best Yodeler's and she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, cooking, reading comic books and the National Enquirer.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings, Edgar Spradley, Quincy Milton, Jr. and June Law.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, James Clarence Williams, Sr., Lake City; six children, Debra Rodriguez (Jose), Pasadena, TX, Robert Edward Thomas, Lake City, Cathy Ann Thomas (Sherman), Humble, TX, James Clarence Williams, Jr. (Debra), Wellborn, Patricia Lynn Williams, Lake City and Karen Babcock (Stephen), Live Oak; two sisters, Maryann Raulerson (J.O.) and Geraldine Feagle both of Lake City; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 S. US Hwy 441, Lake City, FL 32025.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Haven Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center at 6037 W US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055, in memory of Mrs. Williams. Please leave words of comfort for the family at www.gatewayforestlawn.com.
