Dustin Jared Waters, Sr., age 37, of Gainesville, Florida passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 in Gainesville, FL. Dustin was born in Gainesville, Florida on February 16, 1983 to his loving parents, Ronald David Waters, Jr. and Kimberly Ann Estes. He was a lifelong resident of Alachua County and enjoyed his longtime career as a Tree Climber. Dustin was a dare devil who lived in the moment and lived life to its fullest. He was humble, polite, respectful, loved all people, and never met a stranger. Dustin will always be remembered for his caring heart, his giving spirit, and helping anyone in need. In his younger years, Dustin played baseball, football, and taekwondo. He enjoyed being on the water, fishing, but more than anything, Dustin loved his family especially his children, nieces and nephew. Dustin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald David Waters, Sr.; and his maternal grandparents, Emory Raymond Estes, Sr. and Virginia Myrtle Blizzard Estes.
Dustin is survived by his parents, Ronald David Waters, Jr. of Waldo, FL and Kimberly (Leonard Neal) McElhenny of Starke, FL; his children, Dustin Jared Waters, Jr. of Waldo, FL, Tristan Julius Waters-Witt of Gainesville, FL, Kaiden Lane Waters and Gracie Isabella Waters both of Middleburg, FL, and Bryson Hank Parrish-Waters of Gainesville, FL; his brothers, Brandon Kyle Waters and Dusty (Brittani) McElhenny both of Starke, FL; his sisters, Jessica Marie (Travis) Witt of Gainesville, FL, Brittany Noel Gann of Keystone Heights, FL, and Raina Dawn (Dusty) Rowland of Alma, GA; paternal grandmother, Margie Lee Waters of Waldo, FL; along with his nieces and nephew, Taylor Madison Witt, Jordyn Makayla Witt, Logan Lynn Rowland, Aly Addyson Rowland, Brooklyn Marie Witt, Paislee Peyton Rowland, and Zehlen Scott Renfroe-Gann.
A Celebration of Dustin's Life will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chip Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe Cemetery in Starke, FL. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
