Mrs. Christine T. Sandy of Augusta, Georgia died at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She was 91 years old.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 31, 2009 at The Poteet Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The graveside service will be held Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Rev. W. Sherrell Dunn will officiate.
Mrs. Christine T. Sandy is survived by her son Frank Sandy Jr. and his wife, Diane Sandy, of North Augusta, SC; grandchildren Lloyd Sandy III and his wife Jenny, Christine D. Sandy and her fiancee Patrick Versteeg, Jodi Battle-Foss and her husband Mikey Foss; 6 great grandchildren; a number of extended family and friends.
Mrs. Christine T. Sandy is preceded in death by her husband Frank Sandy Sr.; brothers John and Mack Tinsley.
