Niven Daniel McInnish, age 80, of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007.
His family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Morrison Funeral Home, of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Wayne Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. McInnish was a native of Bear Creek, Ala, but lived most of his life in Colbert County. He was a proud veteran of World War II, serving in the Army, was retired from Reynolds Metals and a member of Mountain Home Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Katherine McInnish, and his children, Gary McInnish Sr., Gail McInnish and Todd McInnish.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Gargis McInnish, of Tuscumbia; daughter, Bridget McInnish Gillis and husband, Barry, of Tuscumbia; brothers, Calvin McInnish, Charles McInnish, Gary McInnish; sister, Lutine Pickard; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Gary McInnish Jr., Shenandoah McInnish, Josh Gillis, Bart Gillis, Nicholas Falletta and David Pickard.
Morrison Funeral Home, of Tuscumbia, is directing.

On Monday, 24 November 2014, Jacqueline T. McInnish, 66, passed away in Petaluma, California.
She was born in August of 1948 in Ludington, Michigan and was the daughter of Niven Daniel McInnish and Mary Katherine (Ricard) McInnish.
Jacqueline was raised from birth by her maternal grandparents, Carl F. Ricard and Kathleen (Morley) Ricard.
Mrs. McInnish is survived by her son, Adam Morley McInnish, sister, Bridget Kathleen (McInnish) Gillis of Tuscumbia, Alabama; her maternal aunt, Madeline Brockhaus and her maternal uncle, Carl Morley Ricard who were raised together as siblings.
She was preceded by her parents, Niven Daniel McInnish and Mary Katherine (Ricard) McInnish, sister, Gail Carol McInnish, brothers, Charles Gary McInnish and Joseph Todd McInnish, maternal grandparents, Carl F. Ricard and Kathleen (Morley) Ricard.
Cremation has taken place and Funeral Services were held on Wednesday December 3, 2014.
