    Mrs. Myrtle R. Lee, age 66, of White Springs, FL. passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at her residence following an illness of some time. Myrtle was a native and lifelong resident of White Springs, FL. She was born on May 12, 1948 to the late Jake and Donnie Mae Brannen Register. She was a homemaker with a busy agenda. Myrtle was a good and faithful servant at Long Branch Congregational Methodist Church where she worked in the nursery department for many years. She was known around the community for her coaching skills and for her love of the children on and off of the T-Ball field. Myrtle will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents and in 1996 her son, Robert Samuel Lee.

    Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Ronald Lee; one son, Ronald Lee, Jr. "Sport" and his wife Holly of White Springs; four brothers, Willis E. Register (Kathleen), James Register (Winifred), and Donald Register (Kathy), all of Lake City, FL. and John Register (Becky), White Springs, FL.; two sisters, Betty McDaniel (Pat) and Evelyn Lindsey (Tommy), all of White Springs; four grandchildren, Taylor Lee, Benjamin Evans, Andrew Evans and Orion Evans. A host of much loved nieces and nephews also survive.

    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Long Branch Congregational Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in White Springs.

    The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 between the hours of 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper.
