GRAVES Arthur Wilkes Graves, 87, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2008. Mr. Graves, a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church, was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was a retired school teacher with the Duval County School System.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nell Graves; 1 daughter, Lisa Kelly; 4 sons: Mark (Donna), Ken (Denie), Danny (Marianne) and Jeff (Debra) Graves; 4 sisters; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 15, in the chapel of COREY-KERLN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Rev. Bob Calhoun, officiating.
Interment will be in Green Pine Cemetery, Yulee.
The family will receive friends from 3PM to 5PM Sunday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, 1040 Woodcock Rd., Ste 119, Orlando, FL 32803-3510.
