LAKE CITY - John Edward Crews died Wednesday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lake City after an extended illness. He was 74.
Mr. Crews was born in Lake City and was a lifetime resident. He owned and operated Florida Neon Signs for more than 40 years.
He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include daughters Glenda Hatch of Branford and Carol Harmon of Gainesville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
