    BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. - MSG William Harold Caison (U.S. Army Retired), age 87, passed away on Nov. 6, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 2015 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 in the Florence National Cemetery in Florence, South Carolina.

    Bill was born on June 1, 1928 in Scotland County, a son of the late Henry Kitchen Caison and Gladys Phipps Caison. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, retiring as a master sergeant after 21 years of service. Bill proudly served his country during tours of duty in Korea and Vietnam.

    After his military career, he was employed by LOF/Pilkington Glass until his retirement. He was a Shriner and member of the Bennettsville Masonic Lodge. Bill was an avid sports fan, especially a fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels. He also loved offshore fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

    In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his daughter Cynthia Caison Freeman and sister Patricia Caison Robbinson.

    He is survived by his loving wife Helen Hodge Caison of the home, his sons Terry Caison of Alabama and John B. Caison of North Carolina, his daughter Nancy Caison Buxton of Santee, South Carolina, stepson Mark Rainwater of Blenheim, South Carolina and stepdaughter Teresa R. Morton of Chesterfield, South Carolina, brothers Charlie Caison of California and Cecil Caison of Laurinburg, sister Ila Caison Godwin of Laurinburg, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.

    Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.

    In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Bill's memory to Agape' Hospice, 309 East Main Street, Bennettsville, SC 29512, or to the charity of one's choice.

    Mrs. Cynthia Elaine Freeman, 52, of 4500 Tango Drive, Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007, in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville.

    She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and a friend to all who knew her.

    She is survived by her husband, Philip Ricks Freeman of the home; a daughter, Frances Ann Freeman of Beaufort, S.C.; a son, Josh Hodge of Las Vegas; her father, William Harold Caison of Bennettsville, S.C.; two brothers, William H. Caison Jr. of Florence, S.C., and John Brantley Caison of Asheville; sisters, Nancy Ann Buxton of Santee, S.C., and Tracy Hair of Lake City, S.C.; and a granddaughter.

    A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007, in the chapel of Rogers and Breece Funeral Home with Chaplain Archie Barringer officiating.

    In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorial contributions be made to Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center, 2431 Legion Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
