    James Curtis Williams, 96 of Lake City, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019, at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born and raised in Union County, Florida to the late George Williams and Alma Raulerson Williams. Mr. Williams had lived most of his life in Lake City and had worked for Nettles Sausage for 30 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended the Price Creek Ward. Mr. Williams loved to work on the farm, fishing, hunting, dancing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Iris Dicks Williams in 2005, one son, Larry Wayne Williams, Sr., 2012, one great-great granddaughter, Lakelee Ryan Perkins in 2019 and 7 brothers and sisters.

    Survivors include his children, Jackson Williams, Lake City, Curry Williams (Kim), Branford and Iris Lackey (Larry), Lake City; one sister, “Dottie”, the Villages, FL; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

    Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Old Country Club Road. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Union County. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

    Mr. Larry Wayne Williams, Sr., age 65,of Lake City, Fla. died Wednesday. Feb. 22, in the Lake Shore Hospital, Lake City, Fla. fallowing an extended Illness,

    He has resided in City all of his life. He was a boilermaker in the construction industry for 25 years until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of L.D.S, Branford Ward, a member of Local #199 of Tampa, Fla. Boilermakers Union and loved fishing, hunting, camping at Horseshoe Beach, Fla. and spending time with his grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his mother Iva Iris Dicks Williams and a sister-in-law Mary Lou Williams.

    He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lynn Williams of Lake City, Fla.: his father, James Curtis Williams, Lake City, Three daughters, Deanna (Randy) Otis of West Jefferson, Ohio, Samantha (Walter) Howard and Cristin O'Neal Williams both of Lake City, Fla.: Three sons, Larry Wayne (Tammy} Williams, Jr., of Laporte, Texas, Christopher O'Neal Williams and Larry James Williams both of Lake City, Fla.: One sister, Iris (Larry) Lackey of Lake City, Fla.: Two brothers, Jackson Williams and Curry (Kara) Williams both of Lake City, Fla.: Father and mother-in-law Benny and Nadine Overton of Lakeland, Fla.: Seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

    Funeral services will he conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, Feb. 25, in the Lake Butler Church of Jesus Christ of L.D.S., Lake Butler, Fla.

    Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Union County, Fla.

    Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Friday, Feb. 24, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Fla.
