Deceased Name: Louis Franklin Porter Sr.
MT. PLEASANT, SC-- Louis Franklin Porter Sr., age 50, husband of Katherine Porter, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008 in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fredric Porter Sr. and Ms. Sarah M. Porter. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Fredric Porter Jr.; and great paternal grandparents, Boyd and Rebecca Porter.
He is survived by his sons, Louis Franklin Porter Jr. and Luke Jamison Porter; step daughter, Bridget Bargainnier; four grandchildren, Hannah, Kaitlin, Aiden and Elijah; step sisters, Kay Cash Walton and Nancy Cash Beaty; four nieces; and two nephews.
A Military funeral will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 1:00 PM at J. Henry Stuhr Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery in N. Charleston, SC.
