Mr. Carl Robinson, 84, passed away Tuesday morning September 18, 2018 at the Baya Pointe Nursing home and Rehab Center following an extended illness. He was the son of the late Amon George and Alpha Alice Dicks Robinson.
He was preceded in death by five brothers L.W.; Leroy, Lemon, R.B. and Edward, and four sisters MaeWillie, Jeanie, Katherine, and Annie Pearl.
He had lived here all his life and was a member of Water Town Congregational Methodist Church, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming and going to the car races.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years Mary "Micky" Robinson, Lake City, FL; two sons Ray Robinson (Melissa) Lake City, FL; Troy Robinson (Kristi) Lake City, FL; one daughter Darlene Elizabeth Bailey (Tommy) Lake City, FL; two sisters Grace Johnson, Lake City, FL; and Wonell Brock (Coleman) Lake City, FL; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Water Town Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Ogburn officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, in Lake City, FL.
Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service at the church.
