Ida Belle Lynn Boyette, 84, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, in Port St. Lucie, FL. Born in Tattnall County, she was the daughter of James Wallace and Kate Oliver Lynn. She lived in Savannah most of her life and was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved fishing and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Calvin Boyette, Sr. and three brothers, Ferrell, Eddie and Billy Lynn.
Survivors are two sons, Calvin Boyette, Jr. of Ellabell and Daniel (Diane) Boyette of Guyton; four daughters, Sandra (Jimmy) Brock of Port St. Lucie, FL, Margaret Sapp of Cobbtown, Marie Boyette (Jack) of Claxton and Frankie (Austin) Pool of Richmond Hill; sister-in-law, Marolyn C. Lynn of Collins; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:00 AM, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel with burial in the Cedar Creek Cemetery with Elder Lee Chambers officiating. COLLINS - Wallace Billy Lynn, 77, died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville.
A 1954 Collins High School graduate, he was the son of Wallace and Kate Oliver Lynn.
Billy worked 46 years as auto parts manager at J.C. Lewis Ford, Fairway Lincoln and at O.C. Welch Ford-Lincoln.
After retirement, he moved back home to Collins in 2001.
He loved to hunt, play the guitar and his little dog, Todd.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Farrell and Eddie Lynn.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marolyn Carter Lynn of Collins; son, Lloyd (Dani) Lynn of Phoenix City, AL; daughter, Julia (Mike) Hatton of Mobile, AL; sister, Ida Boyette of Port St. Lucie, FL; six grandchildren, Shannon Pritchett, Jimmy Lynn, Charity Lynn and Shawn Lynn all of Pooler, Marolyn Robbins of Deer Park, AL and Beverly Lynn of Phoenix City, AL; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

James Calvin Boyette, Jr. age 70 passed away Friday morning, November 27, 2020 at his daughter’s home while under the care of Regency Southern Care Hospice.
Mr. Boyette was born July 12, 1950 in Savannah, GA to the late J.C. Boyette and Ida Belle Lynn Boyette. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. He lived and worked a number of years in both Savannah and Effingham County in the automotive parts, sales and collision repair industry. He retired from Napa Auto Parts in Pembroke and was a former member of Pembroke Masonic Lodge F&AM #469. Calvin loved spending time with his family and made many friends at Napa. He loved to fish, ride dirt roads and had one thousand stories to tell.
Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Randall Butler of Pembroke and Faith and Robby Chapman of Pembroke; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Diane Boyette of Guyton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Jim Brock of Alabama, Margaret Sapp of Claxton, Marie Beasley of Rincon, and Frankie and Austin Pool of Richmond Hill; grandchildren, Bryce Butler, Brayden Butler, Chase Chapman and Adelyn Chapman and his former wife of 27 years and constant companion, Linda Hill Boyette.
Visitation will be held 3-6 P.M. Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Monday in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery. The family would like to thank Regency Southern Care Hospice and a special thanks to Matt for the wonderful care and compassion shown during Mr. Calvin’s illness.
