    Jesse R. Wilkinson, 76, died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Putnam Community Medical Center.

    He was a lifelong resident of Palatka. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II.

    Survivors include his sons, Stephen Wilkinson of Huntsville, Ala., Jeffery Wilkinson of Hollister, Jesse Danny Wilkinson of Florida, Kelvin Wilkinson of Jacksonville; daughters, April Hoyt of Eureka, Montana, Paula Wilkinson of Hollister, Louann Wilkinson, Sylvia, Peggy; brother, Riley (Tug) Wilkinson of Sanford; sisters, Jane Kemp of Francis, Reece Sheppard of Palatka, Nettie Sheppard of Hollister, Frances Ussery of Richmond, Va.; and ten grandchildren.     Jesse Danny Wilkinson, 62 of Fellsmere, FL died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Sebastian River Medical Center.

    He was born January 3, 1948 in Palatka, FL and was a resident of Fellsmere since 1972, coming from Palm Bay, FL.

    Mr. Wilkinson was a former State Trooper and was the owner of the Wilkinson Grove Service. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion and the Eagles. He served in the US Army.

    Survivors include his wife of 28 years Cheryl Wilkinson of Fellsmere, FL; son Jesse Wilkinson of Vero Beach, FL; daughter Tonya Hansen of Vero Beach, FL; brother Kevin Wilkinson of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters Sylvia Flores of Jacksonville, FL, Peggy Farinas of Jacksonville, FL, Lueann Pantaniban of Green Cove Springs, FL and four grandchildren.

    Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, VEro Beach, FL 32960.

    Friends may call from 6-9:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian, FL.

    A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Treasure Coast Assembly of God in Vero Beach, FL. Burial will follow at Fellsmere Brookside Cemetery in Fellsmere, Florida with Military Honors by Sebastian River Area Veterans Honor Guard.
