Robert Wilkes
IRMO - A graveside service for Robert Lee Wilkes, 82, will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2010, in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel.
Mr. Wilkes, husband of the late Sadie Coker Wilkes, died Thursday, July 15, 2010. Born December 23, 1927, in Hartsville, he was a son of the late Archie C. and Mallie Lee Goodson Wilkes. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, he was a Navy veteran of WWII and a retired civil engineer. He was an avid Gamecock fan and a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.
Surviving are his daughter, Katherine Matthews and her husband, Stan, of Chapin; sons, David and Allan Wilkes, both of Irmo; grandchildren, Dana Wilkes of Irmo, Chris Hinely (Carrie) of Columbia, Jason Hinely (Laura) of Summerville, Rebecca Hinely (Jason Hogan) of Prosperity; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jared, Mitchell, J.P., Nicholas, Amie; brothers, Donald Wilkes of Lexington, Ray Wilkes (Von) of Athens, Ga., Delbert Wilkes of Newberry.

Obituary for Allan Clark Wilkes
Columbia - Allan Clark Wilkes - A graveside service for Allan Clark Wilkes, 55, of Columbia, will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, July 17, 2015 at Elmwood Cemetery and Gardens, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201. Reverend Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside. Woodridge Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mr. Wilkes passed away Monday, July 6, 2015. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Robert Lee and Sadie Ruth Coker Wilkes. He was a graduate of Midlands Technical College, with an Associates Degree in Tool and Die Technology.
He is survived by his sister, Katherine Matthews (Stan) of Chapin, brother, David Wilkes of Columbia; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lexington Medical Center for their loving care during his illness.
