Johns' three sons anad later their mother, Rebedda Lucretia Hardeman Tomlinson, removed to Irwin County and Settled in the part cut off into Lowndes Co. in 1825and later in 1850 cut off into Clinch Co. About 1857, their 1st cousin, Dennis McLendon, son of Ephraim and Elizabeth Tomlinson McLendon removed his family from Laurens Co. and settled on Red Bluff Creek, Clinch Co, now Atkinson Co. Georgia According to the 1860 Ga Mortality Schedule Dennis McLendon died in Clinch Co Ga. in Jan 1860. Cause of death cancer of the face.
