    WALTERBORO — Wilbur Quinton Caison, Jr., 63, of Walterboro, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006.

    Mr. Caison was born October 18, 1942, in Miley, S.C., a son of the late Wilbur Quinton Caison, Sr. and Naomi Maples Caison.

    He was a 1960 graduate of St. Paul's High School in Hollywood, S.C., and received his Associate of Business Degree in 1975 at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, S.C.

    He served his country in the U.S. Navy and retired with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He retired from the S.C. Department of Environmental Control. He was a member of Woodmen of the World and the University of South Carolina Gamecock Club for 25 years. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 1.

    Survivors include his wife, Patsy Lyons Caison; one son, Wilbur Quinton Caison, III of Anderson, SC; two brothers, Rev.Michael Carroll Caison of Cumming, GA and Robert Leslie Caison of Summerville, SC; one sister, Betty Lou Whittle of Plano, TX; two grandchildren, Blake Thomas Burdette and Baylee Grace Caison, both of Anderson, SC.

    He was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Ferrell French.

    Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2006, at 11 a.m., in Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 1 with Rev. Kenneth McCaskill, Rev. Ralph Warren, Rev. Michael Caison and Dr. James Shockey officiating.

    Interment, with full military honors, will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 1 Cemetery.

    Family and friends may call at the PARKER-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME, 117 Paul St., Walterboro, SC, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday.

    Memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 1 Music Ministry.

    ANDERSON, SC - I Samuel 1:27-28

    I asked the Lord to give me this boy, and he has given me my request. Now I am giving him to the Lord and he will belong to the Lord his whole life.

    Wilbur Quinton "Bryce" Caison, IV age 3, of 2902 Beechwood Parkway, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009, in Greenville Memorial Hospital.

    Born in Anderson, SC, February 1, 2006, Bryce was a son of Will and Julie Bolding Caison. He attended West Anderson Christian Academy and attended NewSpring Church with his family. He was full of life, playing baseball, riding his bicycle and cheering for the Gamecocks. He was all boy.

    In addition to his parents, Bryce is survived by his brother, Blake, and sister, Baylee; paternal grandmother, Patsy Caison; maternal grandmother, Kathy Dunn, and his two great-grandmothers, Margaret Dunn and Grace Lyons.

    He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilbur Q. Caison, Jr., and his two great-grandfathers, Thomas L. Dunn and Rudolph Lyons.

    The family will receive friends at NewSpring Church from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009, and a Service of Celebration for the life of Bryce will follow at noon, officiated by Pastor Garry Harper. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

    The family will be at the residence.

    It is suggested that memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E. Calhoun Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
