William Powell, 90, of Winter Haven passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Spring Lake Nursing Center in Winter Haven.
Born December 6, 1923 in Haines City, FL he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of The Church on the Hill in Dundee and was the owner of Powell Oil Company.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, and a daughter Carol Ann Powell.
He is survived by: a son, Dallas Powell of Winter Haven; a brother, Cecil Powell of Winter Haven; and 2 sisters, Mary Rexford of Dundee, FL and Margie Foskey of Dundee, FL.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, March 14, 2014 at Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven.
