Deceased Name: Viva Hardy Evans
Viva Hardy Evans, 84, died Sunday (Nov. 2, 2008) in Blackshear.
She was a resident of Valdosta since 1958 and a long-time member of Lee Street Baptist and most recently Crossroads Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Van Evans; and a son, Kenneth Russell Evans.
She is survived by three sons, Terry (Marian) Evans, of Blackshear; Randy Evans, of Orange, Texas, and Lynn Evans of Macon; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister; and a brother and sister in law.
Afuneral will be held at 11 a.m.
Wednesday in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Scarbrough officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Senior Adult Ministry at Crossroads Baptist Church, 3001 Country Club Drive, Valdosta, Ga. 31602.
