• Notes

  Worked for Seaboard Coastline Railroad, and then served in the U. S. Navy in WW II. Then worked for a paper mill in Childerburg, Alabama and transferred to St. Regis Pulp and Paper Company as a supervisor. He engaged in pulpwood side ventures and residential real estate purchases.
