Deceased Name: W. Billy Lynn
COLLINS - Wallace Billy Lynn, 77, died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville.
A 1954 Collins High School graduate, he was the son of Wallace and Kate Oliver Lynn.
Billy worked 46 years as auto parts manager at J.C. Lewis Ford, Fairway Lincoln and at O.C. Welch Ford-Lincoln.
After retirement, he moved back home to Collins in 2001.
He loved to hunt, play the guitar and his little dog, Todd.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Farrell and Eddie Lynn.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marolyn Carter Lynn of Collins; son, Lloyd (Dani) Lynn of Phoenix City, AL; daughter, Julia (Mike) Hatton of Mobile, AL; sister, Ida Boyette of Port St. Lucie, FL; six grandchildren, Shannon Pritchett, Jimmy Lynn, Charity Lynn and Shawn Lynn all of Pooler, Marolyn Robbins of Deer Park, AL and Beverly Lynn of Phoenix City, AL; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.
