- Thomas Kent's parents are questionable. Some researchers believe hisparents to be Humphry Kent and Joan Arundell, others list Henry Kent ashis father. Still others claim Nicholas Kent. However, it is known thatThomas Kent bought land in Perquimans Co 11 Mar 1668 and lived their withhis family. He was killed by Tuscarora Indians.
