Merle was preceded in death by her husband, George Sweat, and her daughter, Brenda Kogut. She is survived by her daughter, Debarah Mae Hardee Peck; her brother, Ted Watson; son-in-law, Barry Kogut; 4 grandchildren, Scott, Leah, Michael, and Christopher; 3 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, and Emma. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 11:00am, May 15, 2013, Hardage-Giddens Main Street Funeral Home, 4315 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL. 32206.
