- Lillian Benton Johns, 85, of Dover was predeceased in death by her parents, Barney B. Benton, and Agnes Cowart Benton, sisters Eva (Rev. William) Johnson, Lennie (Arvid) Johns, Neta Benton, brothers Charles Benton, Maxie H. Benton, and Robert L. Benton; nieces Brenda Benton and Shelia Benton, a nephew Gary Benton and Grandniece Christy Holley. She is survived by her husband of 69+ years Fred Johns; brothers John Benton, Eddie V. (Connie) Benton, sisters Ruth Mulholland and Aline (Joey) Hobbs: daughters Joan Johns MacKinzie (Kevin), Jan Johns, and a son Fred Paul Johns (Tracie). Extended family includes three grandchildren, Aaron Paul MacKenzie (Fiancée Dee Dee Addessi), Lorraine Fuqua (Dan), Paul Riley Johns (Amanda), Great Granddaughter Lola Johns along with many nephews who loved her dearly. Mrs. Johns was born in Moniac, Georgia and had lived in the Miami and Dover areas for most of her Life. She was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church. Interment in Salem Cemetery. Pall bearers include Eric Riddle, Jordan Lyons, Dale Hobbs, Scott Benton, Douglas Mulholland.
