- Iva Cox Collins, age 56, of Little River, SC, formerly of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011. She was born in New Hanover County, NC on June 25, 1954. She retired as a Clerk from the Town of Red Springs.
Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Waddell.
She is survived by her husband, Robbie Collins, of the home; her sons, David Carter and wife, Kim of Lumberton, NC and Charlie Collins of Lumberton, NC; her daughter, Penny Lovin and husband, Michael of Greenville, NC; her father, Hubert Waddell, Sr. of Lumberton, NC; four brothers, Bill Cox and wife, Lorena of Carthage, NC, Frankie Cox and wife, Sherry of Proctorville, NC, Wayne Cox and wife, Gina of Florence, SC and Hubert Waddell, Jr. and wife, Rene of Lumberton, NC; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and her best friend, Edna Todd of Cherry Grove, SC.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 3:00PM at Hyde Park Baptist Church in Lumberton with Rev. Shawn Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.
A time if visitation will be held on Saturday evening, February 19, 2011 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.
