- Ramona Denmark Jenkins
Ramona Denmark Jenkins, 77, of Quitman, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Niceville, Fla., on March 22, 1932, to the late Hutch A. and Edna Rodgers Denmark and had lived in this area for many years. Mrs. Jenkins was retired from Harry B. Anderson's Western Auto as the credit manager and a member of the Victory Baptist Church. She loved to play bingo, gardening and going to the flea market.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Shaaron and Dennis Meeks of Savannah, James Michael and Vikki Jenkins, Robbie and Rocky Adams, all of Quitman; daughter-in-law, Debbie Jenkins of Edgewater, Fla.; grandchildren and their spouses, Nikki Adams Foss and Dan Foss, Aaron Meeks and Liz Meeks, Dustin Meeks, Jonathan Jenkins and Amber Jenkins, Debbie Sue Ridell and Johnny Ridell, Denny Jenkins and Nancy Jenkins, Albie Jenkins, Timmy Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins; and 12 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Mark Moneyhan of Perry, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Willis Jenkins; and a son, George Dennis Jenkins.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., today, July 30, 2009, in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Ben Blanton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
