He was born in Burke County Ga., was a member of Dean Forest Baptist Church and was a member of Clinton Masonic lodge #54, F. & A. M's. He retired from Operating Engineers Local #474. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Priscilla (Pinky) Jenkins of Pooler, Ga.; 2 daughters, Terri Jenkins and Cathy Jenkins Chafin (Greg); 2 grandchildren, Caitlyn and Nicholas Chafin; Father in Law, Charles Huss; 4 sisters, Patricia Stuckey, Mary Roop, Peggy Berfield and Vivian Sickels; 2 brothers, William Jenkins and Robert Jenkins; sister-in-law, Marie and Woody Holmes and Special Friends Annie and Larry Sapp. Visitation: 6 - 8 pm Saturday at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Sunday in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Harrelson Officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Abbey West.
