- William Robert "Bob" O'Steen Sr., age 82, passed away November 3, 2014.
Mr. O'Steen was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, a retired general contractor, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He touched many lives, had many friends and always offered help to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceaded in death by his wife of 54 years, Sylvia J. O'Steen, parents Robert Morgan O'Steen and Anna Belle Mullis, and sister Madolyn Dinsbeer and brother Bennie Joe O'Steen.
Survivors :Sons William O'Steen, Jr.,(Frances) and David O'Steen (Becky), brothers Harold O'Steen (Ruby) and Howard O'Steen (Grace), sisters-in-law Darlene Blackwell and Christy Dyer (Garry), brothers -in-law Jack Dinsbeer and Pete Kellum (Martha) and grandchildren Justin O'Steen (Melissa), Kayla O'Steen, Mikell O'Steen, Melinda O'Steen, Will O'Steen, Celia Gunter and James Gunter.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday November 6, 2014 at Fraser Funeral Home Chapel, 8168 Normandy Blvd., at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Wayne Dinsbeer and Rev. Jack Dinsbeer officiating.
