  	Myrtie W. Rowe, age 94, of Macclenny, Fla. died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001. She had resided in Macclenny, Fla. all of her life and was the daughter of the late Robert E. Lee Taylor and Blanche E. Williams Taylor and the widow of the late Virgil D. Walker and Charles John Rowe. She worked and operated Vernons Grocery Store in Macclenny, Fla. for over forty years and was a member of the Macclenny Church of God. She was a past president of the Macclenny Womens Club, past Sertoma Club Women of the Year, former board member of the Baker County Council on Aging, and a volunteer with the American Red Cross. Survivors include her daughter, Bernice M. (Ray) Green of Macclenny, Fla.; two sons, Claudell (June) Walker of Macclenny, Fla. and Virgil (Susie) Walker of Hampton, Fla.; One step-daughter, Myrna Davis of Macclenny, Fla.; Eightenn grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Vernon D. and Willa Jean Walker. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Wednesday, Aug 15, in the Macclenny Church of God, officiating and assisted by Rev. Wilford Lyons. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M.
