Born on March 14, 1953 in Louisville, KY. He was the son of the late Wilbur Henry Wood, Jr. and Patricia (MecKisis) Musser of Richardson, TX.

In addition to his mom Woody is survived by survived by his wife Mrs. Donnie R. Wood of Ashburn, VA; one daughter, Audrey M. Wood of Ashburn, VA; two sisters, Becky Varner of Arlington, TX, Tammy Hise of Flower Mound, TX, a brother, Gregg Wood of Arlington, TX, plus numerous other family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, Virginia, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 4, 2007. Funeral service will be held at St. Theresa Church, Ashburn, VA at 1:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2007, Father Richard Guest officiating. Interment will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, VA.
