  	Mattie S. Gordy, 85, died Monday in the Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after an extended illness. A native of Tattnall County, she lived most her life in Toombs County. She was a homemaker and a member of Marietta Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors: sons, Vernon Gordy of Rincon, and Jack and Bobby Gordy of Lyons; daughter, Gloria Key of Lyons; four grandsons; one granddaughter; five great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p. m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 11:00 a. m. Thursday, from the Chapel of Jones-Stewart Funeral Home of Lyons with Rev. Earl Wiggins and Rev.
